Rochelle Salts

I was interested in an article published in The Etude, in regard to pianoforte cramp. I suffered from an attack of the same nature last winter, owing to excessive harp practice. The pain commenced in the hands but extended through all the muscles of the body, causing soreness even on the scalp and on the soles of the feet. After taking various remedies it was cured by the use of Rochelle salts. One large tablespoonful dissolved each morning in a tumbler of water, and sipped through the day. Three or four weeks sufficed for a perfect cure.    A. A. S.
